Exotic Food Culture Another reason to study abroad in Denmark is to experience the country's unique food culture. American and Italian influences can be seen in Denmark with pastas, barbecues, and salad bars. Wildlife / National Parks:

Elk, boars, wolves, and brown bears frequent the terrains of Denmark. The University of Copenhagen offers an incredible Animal Science program, which is taught in English. The outdoor activities which can be found here are unique and fascinating to international students. Caving is a popular activity in Jutland, where three abandoned mines are now open to the public.


Events / Festivals:

The Aalborg Carnival is the largest carnival in Northern Europe, with over 60,000 participants and over 100,000 onlookers. Within the carnival is the Grand Parade, which ends in a large-scale party of colours in the city.


Admission Requirement

Academics
  • Master’s- Bachelor's degree with minimum 60% in relevant Field
  • MBA- Bachelor's degree with minimum 60% + minimum two years relevant management experience.

IELTS Requirements:

IELTS:
IELTS- 6.5 with no band less than 6.0.

Backlogs- 5-10 on trial basis.


Duration:

Master’s- 1 to 2 years   |   MBA- 15 months   |   UG – 3 to 4 years


Tution Fee:

Euro 10,000 to Euro 20,000 approx.

Visa Filing:

Application for a residence and work permit as a student This form can be used to apply for a residence and work permit in Denmark based on studies. A residence permit can be granted to foreigners who are enrolled in one of the following programs:


VISA FEES – DKK 2,490

PROCESSING TIME – 2 Months

  • Please note that both you and your educational institution must contribute to filling in this form.
  • In the form, all questions marked with * must be answered
  • The application will be processed by the Agency for International Recruitment and Integration.
  • Your educational institution must start the online application
  • The form consists of two parts. You and your educational institution must complete separate parts of the application. It is the educational institution that starts by filling in part 1 of the application. The educational institution must use NemID to log in and sign part 1 of the application.
  • When the educational institution has signed part 1, the educational institution will be informed of a reference number and a password, which STUDENT must use to log in to part 2 of the application.

Higher education:

  • Courses giving access to higher education
  • Primary and secondary education Folk high schools
  • If you are a PhD student, you must use form PHD 1.

Financials

  • You must have sufficient funds to be able to support yourself during your stay in Denmark.
  • You have sufficient funds, if your disposable amount corresponds to DKK 6,820 (2024 level) per month. You must multiply the amount with the number of months you will be studying at a higher educational program in Denmark. If you are studying more than one year, you must be able to document funds for 12 months. That means a maximum of DKK 81,840 (2024 level).
  • IF THE STUDENT HAS PAID 1ST YEAR FULL TUITON FEES- THEN LIVING EXPENSE IS NOT REQUIRED TO BE SHOWN

    What documentation can you submit?


    Bank statement that shows:

  • Date of the statement (maximum 30 days old at the time of submission of application)
  • Your full name
  • Balance
  • Currency
  • Documentation showing that your financial support is secured via a scholarship or a student loan.
